It describes Rusudana's memories of the people with whom she became acquainted during her visits to Switzerland and France between 1901 and 1914. She specifically mentions French poet Paul Geraldy, along with Dora Kunz, Amedei Caulin, and Inias Varshavskii.

The volume covers historical and political events. There is some inconsistency, but part 1 focused on 1905 to 1915, part 2 on 1915 to 1917, and part 3 on 1917 to 1925; however, almost all of parts 2 and 3 are missing. For the most part dating of entries is sporadic. RNN comments on events in Russian and in Georgian. Among other events, RNN mentions her cousin, Iraklii Tsereteli's exile to Siberia in 1902-1903, the revolution of 1905, the second duma of 1906-1907 and its dissolution.
