These miscellaneous pages represent a fragment from RNN's Travel Memoirs about Switzerland. The fragment is entitled "In 25 years"(Cherez 25 let). It describes Rusudana's memories of the people with whom she became acquainted during her visits to Switzerland and France between 1901 and 1914. She specifically mentions French poet Paul Geraldy, along with Dora Kunz, Amedei Caulin, and Inias Varshavskii.

The notebook contains 73 consecutive pages of content in Rusudana's hand, mostly in ink. The journal was written in 1893. The manuscript is primarily written in Georgian with occasional entries in Russian. Folder includes two letters dated 1973 and written in Georgian.

Scope and Contents RNN page nos. 17, 34, 46This is an incomplete volume entitled "Summer 1914 Notebook I" (Leto 1914 g. Tetrad I)describing Rusudana's journey back to Russia from Switzerland with her husband M. A. Polievktov in the summer of 1914 due to the outbreak of the Great War. It appears that some pages (RNN page nos. 49-63) from this journal describing the first days of the war and the bombing of Paris were later inserted into the Travel Memoir entitled "My France" (see folder 18). The volume covers historical and political events. There is some inconsistency, but part 1 focused on 1905 to 1915, part 2 on 1915 to 1917, and part 3 on 1917 to 1925; however, almost all of parts 2 and 3 are missing. For the most part dating of entries is sporadic. RNN comments on events in Russian and in Georgian. Among other events, RNN mentions her cousin, Iraklii Tsereteli's exile to Siberia in 1902-1903, the revolution of 1905, the second duma of 1906-1907 and its dissolution.

This incomplete volume features poems on a variety of topics -- for example, "Dozhd" (unnumbered page), "Nashla kosa na kamen" (verso of page 270), etc. Poems are written out in ink by Rusudana as well as numerous other contributors to the poetry album.

Lapshin (a close friend of her husband, Mikhail Polievktov), Iraklii Tsereteli, Vissarion (Beso) Chichinadze (a cousin), etc. Some leaves are partially or completely cut out. The poems cover a wide range of topics from the romantic and familial to political satire. Inside the front cover is a poem entitled: "Es ery -- es dekom"...
